We Glorify Burnout.
We wear exhaustion like a badge. But deep down… we’re over it. We were told success would save us...that if we just hustled harder, climbed faster, proved ourselves, we’d finally arrive.
But the truth? That hustle-and-grind narrative is trash.Society glorified overworking until it became our norm and honestly, it’s depressing af.
Let’s Call It What It Is
-
Survival Mode
Constantly producing to prove you're worthy.
-
Generational Pressure
Feeling guilty for wanting ease when they never had it.
-
Performative Ambition
Hustling for titles you don’t even want.

Why Mood by a Millennial Exists
Mood by a Millennial was born out of the burnout I felt from working a 9–5 that drained my soul. I didn’t create this brand because I had it all figured out. I created it because I didn’t. I wanted a space for women of color who were forced to build a life out of survival. A place to say: “There has to be more than this.” Because that blueprint was never made for us.
You deserve to live life on your terms.
You don’t have to do this alone. Let the healing begin with a safe place to land
